The LED on the Xfinity router tells its status. If it's flashing orange, it means the hub can only connect at 10/100. Sometimes, the hardware issues can also be the reason that your Xfinity gateway blinking orange. To resolve the issue, follow the steps given below:
Ensure that your router is receiving internet signals properly.
Remove all the cables from your router, and plug them back in after 30 seconds.
If the problem persists, you will have to update the firmware of your Xfinity router.
