Jameson Taillon will toe the slab for the Yankees, looking to continue their recent stretch of great starting pitching, as the last four Yankee starters threw at least seven innings with no earned runs allowed.No pressure, Jameson.Taillon will be making his ninth start of 2021 and has been down more than up so far this season. Keuchel has been roughed up himself lately allowing 9 earned runs on 15 hits in 12.2 innings over his last two starts. The White Sox were able to evade serious ramifications of those performances, however, as their batters put up 29 runs in those two games – a trend of run support for their starter that the Yankees look to end today.
